4 Favorite Organizing products from wal-mart
My husband says I’m always organizing things so I can buy new bins for our old bins. Some of that may slightly be true. While I was updating a hallway closet and our pantry before baby #3 came, I discovered how great the organizing bins at Wal-Mart are. They are at a great price point and come in different styles and sizes. Win-win. Read below to see how I’m using bins from Wal-Mart throughout my home.
1. Large Felt Decorative Storage Basket
My hallway closet was a bit under-utilized. I needed this space to serve as a linen closet, miscellaneous baby gear storage, and a drop zone for kids’ school bags. These large felt bins are the perfect size and are sturdy enough to withstand toddler usage. I love how deep they are. I added a personalized bin clip to help identify the contents of each bin.
2. Large Plastic Storage Bin
These large storage bins are the perfect size to contain smaller items that could get easily lost in the shuffle. They serve as a great drop zone for baby care items and my outdoor items for this summer (bug spray, sunscreen, stroller fans, hats, etc.). I love the handle on the ends so you can pull them out easily. I added a custom label to help quickly identify the contents of each bin.
3. Large Clear Plastic Storage Bin for Pantry
Our pantry is narrow, and the bins I had were from our previous house and weren’t utilizing the depth of my shelves. I found these large clear plastic bins from Mainstays that fit perfectly on my shelves. The 2 tier design really helps from losing food in the back, and the handle on the front allows for quick access. These bins are less than $5, so it’s a great way to refresh your kitchen or pantry cabinets. Don’t forget to group like items together and label the front!
4. 3 Tier Plastic Clear Storage Cart
Our children’s bedrooms are upstairs, and I knew once the baby came I wouldn’t want to be going up and down the stairs for all those frequent diaper and clothing changes. I saw this 3 tier clear utility storage cart for under $30 and knew it would be the perfect solution for storing baby items for the early weeks after the baby came. I also knew once I no longer needed the baby items downstairs I could transition to using it to hold craft supplies or other play items for my kids. I love the clear aesthetic; it’s sturdy and rolls easily.
